My Current Occupation

I am doing Master of Computer Sc. & Application (M.C.A.) Under Utkal University in I.I.S.I.T. , Bhubaneswar , Orissa , India . Now I am doing my project at Centre For Educational Technology , Indian Institute Technology , Kharagpur , India for partial fulfilment of my degree under Prof. Anup Kumar Ray .

My project is " Design of an adaptive & interactive computer aided learning system " .

This project explores the various issues involved in designing an Adaptive & Computer Aided Learning System (CAL-system) which aims to keep teachers in the central position and in constant touch with the learners and yet allow the students to choose contents , place , time , depth , duration and style of learning to suit indivisual needs .The relative advantages and disadvantages of typical Computer Aided Instruction strategies and more recent Intelligent Tutoring systems are systems are studied and keeping in view the paradigm shift in technology that is taking place now , a third alternative model is proposed .
